Privacy Policy — LOGIX Messenger

LOGIX Messenger ("the App") is an internal staff-communication application provided by SLMG Beverages / Amrit Bottlers Pvt. Ltd. ("we", "us", "the Company") for the exclusive use of its authorised employees and associates. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

The App is not intended for the general public and is provided only to verified Company personnel identified by their Employee ID.

1. Information We Collect

a) Identity & profile information

Employee ID
Name, designation and department
Profile photo / display picture (as maintained in the Company directory)

b) Device information

A device identifier (Android device ID) used to register your device and secure your sign-in
Push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver message alerts to your device
Basic technical data such as app version and device model, used for reliability and support

c) Content you provide

Messages you send and receive in one-to-one and group chats
Files you share — images, documents, audio and video attachments
Reactions, replies, edits, stars/saved messages and pinned items

We do not collect your contacts, precise location, browsing history, or any financial information. The App does not use advertising identifiers and does not serve ads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process this information solely to operate the App for internal Company communication. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

3. Device Permissions

The App requests only the permissions needed for its features. You may grant or deny these in your device settings; some features will not work without the related permission.

Camera — to capture and share photos or set your display picture
Photos / Media / Files — to attach and receive images, documents, audio and video
Notifications — to alert you of new messages
Internet / Network — to send and receive messages with Company servers

4. How Information Is Shared

Your messages and shared files are visible to the intended recipient(s) — the person or group you send them to — and to authorised Company system administrators where required for security, compliance or support.
Your directory profile (name, designation, department, photo, Employee ID) is visible to other authorised employees within the App.
We use Google Firebase Cloud Messaging only to deliver push notifications to your device. No message content beyond what is needed to alert you is disclosed for any other purpose.

We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

5. Data Storage & Security

Data is transmitted over secured connections and stored on Company-controlled servers.
Access is restricted to authorised personnel and protected by Employee-ID–based authentication.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorised access, alteration or loss.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain messages, shared files and profile information for as long as needed to provide the App and to meet the Company's legitimate business, security and legal obligations. When you leave the Company or your access is revoked, your account is deactivated and associated data is retained or deleted in line with Company data-retention policy.

7. Your Choices & Rights

You may update your profile photo within the App.
You may turn notifications on or off in your device settings.
To access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, contact the Company using the details below. Requests are handled in accordance with applicable Company policy and law.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is an internal tool for Company employees and is not directed to, or intended for use by, children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or by other appropriate means, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised.
